Im traveling tomorrow to Ft Lauderdale, just to get away for a few days. Im very familiar with Miami, but not so much FL. Dont know much about whats there beyond the Hard Rock. Can anyone give me some tips on the key places to visit while Im there? Would love to look through travel guides, but I really dont have the time at work. Thank you.

South America – Good travel fiction to read?
Tuesday, April 7th, 2009kommz asked:
Going travelling in South America (Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Argentina) & Cuba next year, can someone recommend good topical reading while travelling? (not travel guides!)
Preferably travel fiction based in those countries, but true stories also welcome. Previous good travel reads i liked were The Beach (travel in thailand) and The Full Montezuma (travel in south america (very good!)). Any tips much appreciated!!

Tips for living in Costa Rica?
Tuesday, April 7th, 2009lauren asked:
This spring I will be living in San Jose, Costa Rica as part of my study abroad. Does anyone have any general tips or useful information, such as the bus system, student hangouts, etc..? I’m not looking for the stuff I could find in a travel guide, but rather the tips I would get from the locals. Also any ideas on weekend trips would be helpful. I will be there January -April. Gracias
