How much do I tip tour guide in Israel?

I’m traveling to Israel and hired an independent tour guide directly (no middle person). Since the entire daily fee goes directly to the guide, do I still have to tip? If so, what is a reasonable amount. I accustomed to tipping based on per person, per day. Could use some “guidance” (pun intended).
Thanks!

Wow, you must put Shakespeare to shame with your glorious puns. hehehehehehe.
On a serious note, tip what you tip back in the states. I tip 15% for waiters, etc. So I would tip 15% to guides too. Depends on how you tip usually.

you dont have to tip, but for the guide it’s always nice to get a tip, even if it’s like 20-30$ a day. it’s the feeling that your work has been appreciated more than anything else.
it of course depends on how much you like their work.
