You can see the lights in Hong Kong if your hotel is facing the bay. There are so many ways to get to Hong Kong, by ferry, MRT, bus or taxi. Just pick up a map at the airport and decide from there.

I like this website. They provide how you should plan your trip to Hong Kong. Very informative

For Hong Kong Disneyland. Check out the following website

Enjoy Hong Kong. Bring more money as it’s an expensive city.

Like to tell you that Kowloon is not an island but a peninsular by itself. For the musical spectrum lights at night, if your hotel is located at Tsim Sha Tsui or Tsim Sha Tsui East and faces the harbor, then you have no problem seeing the lights, so you do not need to travel to Hong Kong Island side and watch the light while squeezing with other peoples. If not, you can always take the MTR from your hotel to Wan Chai Station via Admiralty Station. The cheapest way to get there is actually on bus or ferry ride, but you have to state where is your hotel in order to know which is the cheapest way.

As for Victoria Peak, you have to take MTR to Central Station and exit from exit J to Connaught Road Central Outside City Hall and transfer to citybus no. 15C to Tramway Path Opposite Peak Tram Terminus / St. John’s Building. It will cost you HK$4 for the bus ride and 5 minutes of your time. For disneyland, the connecting MTR station is the same name as the attraction and you have to take it from Sunny Bay Station via Tung Chung Line, which you can take directly from Kowloon or Olympic Stations, both in Kowloon Peninsular or Lai King Station from the Tsuen Wan Line from any stations from your hotel.

For your trip for 2 days, the above attractions you mentioned can actually last you for 2 days already, so you won’t need to go elsewhere. But if you want, you can always go to Ladies Market in Mong Kok and Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei for shopping for bargain goods at reasonable price, if you know how to haggle for a good one. If you wake up early, let say 6 or 7am, you can visit the Kowloon Park first for a stroll and if its later, you can visit the HK Heritage Discovery Centre which is located on the left side of the Park at Kowloon Park Drive. There are also many museums in Kowloon side and since you have kids in tow, Science Museum and Space Museum is also worth considering for their hands on activities for your kids.

Last but not least, as for the disney parade, there should be one every day time, but subject to the weather condition on that day and might change without prior notice, so you must have a preparation for any changes that takes place while you get there. By the way, hope you will have a great trip ahead in Hong Kong and have fun.
