Without a doubt for all inclusive on the Mayan Riv. check out Bahia Principe (sic) I have stayed there twice now and was impressed both times, excellent restaurants and great grounds, numerous pools, great on-site transport, shows etc.

My wife and I have stayed at several of the resorts including the Bahia. Our favorite….by far…is the Palladium Festival Grande!
I have not been to Secrets so I cannot make a direct comparison but the Palladium has everything there along with a very fun atmosphere. If you go to our travel agent’s website you can look for reviews. It is

Stay at the ROYAL CANCUN, it is amazing!
I was just there in September and I loved it!
I was at Secrets the year before and I hated it! Felt like the love-boat on land. Also, their beach sucks! Water was mirky and ugly! I am very very picky and I did not have 1 complaint about the Royal Cancun. The rooms are amazing, all ocean views. So worth every penny. Oh, it is all inclusive. You won’t regret it!!!!
I booked with Expedia and paid about $1,200 or so. I had originally booked my entire in Playa del Carmen (same hotel), but did not like it. So I moved to the hotel in Cancun for an extra $40 per day. I tell you, it was NIGHT AND DAY of a difference. From now on…we will stay at the Royal in Cancun.
